Terms and Conditions

Agency Description and Services: Border Visa Chiang Mai partners with independent drivers to facilitate bookings for various transportation services across Thailand. Our primary focus is organizing “border trips” to land borders for passengers seeking visa extensions.

Passenger Conduct: Passengers are required to conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully towards fellow passengers, the driver, and third parties. The agency reserves the right to remove any passenger engaging in disruptive, abusive, or offensive behavior without refund. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during travel.

Reservation and Payment (Join-In Trips): Payment for join-in trips is made directly to the driver upon pick-up, unless otherwise specified by our team.

Cancellation and Refund Policy (Join-In Trips): No-show join-in passengers wishing to reschedule for a later date must prepay for their new reservation. Failure to make this payment will result in the cancellation of the new reservation.

Luggage Policy: The minibus is not equipped to accommodate large bags or backpacks. Passengers with bags exceeding 45cm x 30cm x 20cm should contact the agency before booking. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the minibus.

Arrival Time and Delays: Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to variables such as traffic and weather conditions. Passengers should plan accordingly and anticipate possible delays.

Passenger Pick-up and Drop-off: For Join-In trips, passengers are picked up and dropped off at any of the specified locations listed in the booking form.

Responsibility for Travel Documents: Passengers must ensure that their visa, passport, and travel documents comply with the regulations of Thai and Laos immigration authorities, as well as any other relevant authorities for their specific trip. The agency bears no responsibility for issues arising from non-compliance with these regulations.

Insurance and Liability: The agency accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trip. Passengers are advised to obtain their own travel insurance for the duration of the trip.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: The agency reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
